Learning English is like building a house. It is important to lay the foundation properly before we start building. Without a solid foundation, the house will collapse.
Learning the basic English grammar and the usage of the language step by step is the key to achieving your goal. Every lesson is important. Start from level one and then proceed to level 2 and so on. There is no short cut to it.
While you are doing my lessons, read every sentence carefully. Pay attention to the little words like ‘is‘, ‘are‘, ‘was‘, ‘were‘, ‘have‘, ‘has‘, ’had‘, ‘do‘ and ‘does‘. They are very important words in making a correct sentence. Read each sentence two or three times so that you can even use such a sentence when you speak or write.
Besides taking my lessons, you need to read many books. I always advise my students to read aloud. Try to listen to your own sound and pronunciation. Use a good dictionary or thesaurus to look up for words that you do not understand. Be brave to speak whenever you have a chance. Listen to songs that you like. Watch television. Listen to the speakers carefully. Try not to read the subtitles.
Above all else, HAVE FUN LEARNING!
