Exercise 60 Put in the present continuous tense of the verbs in brackets.

Example:

Some monkeys ______ (sun) themselves on the rocks.
Some monkeys are sunning themselves on the rocks.

1. Look! The dog is digging (dig) a hole in the garden.
2. The rabbits are hopping (hop) around on the grass.
3. Children are running (run) around happily.
4. My brother and I are mopping (mop) the floor.
5. I am getting (get) tired. I need a rest.
6. My brother and I are getting (get) ready for school.
7. Why are you rubbing (rub) your eyes?
8. The dog is wagging (wag) its tail.
9. Is anyone sitting (sit) in this chair?
10. My sister is chatting (chat) on the phone.
