Exercise 58 Put in the present continuous tense of the verbs in brackets.

Example:

Many sheep _________ (graze) in the meadow.
Many sheep are grazing in the meadow.


1. The puppy is chewing (chew) a shoe.
2. Some children are standing (stand) outside the classroom.
3. Somebody is knocking (knock) on the door.
4. No one is eating (eat). Everybody is fasting.
5. David and I are painting (paint) the walls.
6. The wind is blowing (blow).
7. Leaves are falling (fall).
8. Everyone is talking (talk) about the new movie.
9. Two pots are bubbling (bubble) on the stove.
10. Everyone is jumping (jump) up and down with joy.
